You can put this solution on YOUR website!
first put it into an equation
(8+x)3=57
solve for x
(8+x)3=57 Divide by 3 on both sides
8+x=19 Subtract 8 on both sides
x = 11

When 8 is added to certain number and the sum is multiplied by 3,the result is 57.find the number?

(8 + n)3 = 57
Divide each side by 3
(8 + n)3 / 3 = 57 / 3
8 + n = 19
Subtract 8 from each side of the equation.
8 + n - 8 = 19 - 8
Combine like terms:
8 - 8 = 0
19 - 8 = 11
n = 11

Check:
(8 + 11)3 = 57
8 + 11 = 19
19 * 3 = 57
