You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If we can start with an easily proven identity
(1) tan(x) = sin(x)/cos(x), we can use the definition of
(2) cot(x) = 1/tan(x) to get
(3) tan(x) = 1/cot(x) or
(4) sin(x)/cos(x) = 1/cot(x) by continuation, and by cross multiplying
(5) cot(x)*sin(x) = cos(x)
Note that in any of the above operations we cannot have any divisors equal to zero.
