If you think about it, 65/80 would be what percentage you paid of the original price. So, in terms of "getting off" think of how much from 100% did we subtract to get to the percentage we are now?
65/80 = .8125 or 81.25%. So we got off (1-.8125) = .1875 = 18.75% off
