Question 665791: It costs 500 dollars to have a booth at the fair for one day and 2.75 dollars for Aunt Ida to produce one of her famous shepherd's pies. What is the function that gives the average cost in dollars per pie for one of Aunt Ida's days at the fair?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The average cost is the total cost divided by the number of pies (Total Cost)/NumberofPies The total cost is the fixed cost ($500) plus the cost of x pies which is 2.75x. The number of pies is x.

The function is (500+2.75x)/x
