You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The formula you can use to solve this is y-y1=m(x-x1)
So then you just plug your slope in for (m)and the x and y in your point, for x1 and y1
Now you should have y-3=-2/5(x+1)
distribute the -2/5
now you should have y-3=-2/5x-2/5
then add three to both sides
your answer is y=-2/5x+13/5
