You are told that 10 years ago he was 1/6 her age then
s-10+=+%281%2F6%29%2A%28m-10%29
s+-+10+=+%28m-10%29%2F6
6s+-+60+=+m+-+10
6%2A%28m-25%29+-+60+=+m+-+10

  x - 10 = 6(x-35)

 x-10 = 6x - 210

   200 = 5x

    40= x, the mother's age now.  suman is 15.
