You can put this solution on YOUR website! Starting with
2[3z-(4z+3)]=3z+4
Distribute the negative through the inner parentheses first
2[3z-4z-3] = 3z+4
Distribute the 2
6z - 8z - 6 = 3z + 4
Group like terms
6z - 8z - 3z = 4 + 6
Combine like terms
-5z = 10
Divide both sides by -5
z = -2
Proof
2[3(-2)-(4(-2)+3)] = 2[(-6)-(-8+3))] = 2[(-6)-(-5)] = 2[(-6)+ 5] = 2(-1) = -2
and
3(-2)+4 = -6 + 4 = -2
