You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x = yardwork hours
y = supermarket hours
4.5x + 5.5y = 51
x+y=10
4.5x + 5.5(10-x) = 51
4.5x + 55 - 5.5x = 51
55 - 51 = 5.5x - 4.5x
4 = x = 4 hours doing yardwork
