You can put this solution on YOUR website! What is the period and graph of y=2 cot(x+ pie over 2)?
------
Form: y=acot(bx+c)+d
a=2, b=1, c=pi/2,
----------
Period = pi/b=pi=180 degrees
Phase Shift = -c/b= -pi/2=-45 degrees
----------
Cannot graph functions like this on this site.
Vertical asymptotes occur at x=-pi/2=-45 degrees
and +pi/2=45 degrees.
Remember, cot is a decreasing function.
