Solve te system using the substitution method 

x+2y=6  0r  x+=+-2y%2B6    

3x-2y=2

3(-2y+6) - 2y = 2

  -6y - 18 -2y = 2

      -8y = 20

        y = -20/8 = -5/2   and x = 11     x+=+-2%2A%28-5%2F2%29%2B6
