You can put this solution on YOUR website! How would I put (3/5,1/2) and (1/5,-1/4) into the point slope form?
**
formula for point-slope form: (y1-y2)=m(x1-x2)
for given problem:
m=∆y/∆x
=( y1-y2)/(x1-x2)
=(-1/4-1/2)/(1/5-3/5)
=(-3/4)/(-2/5)
=(-15/20/(-8/20)
m=15/8
using one of given points (3/5,1/2)
(y1-y2)=m(x1-x2)
(y-1/2)=(15/8)(x-3/5)
8(y-1/2)=15(x-3/5
8y-4=15x-9
8y=15x-5
equation of line:
y=(15/8)x-5/8
