if the radiushighlight%28x%29 of a certain circle is tripled,with 8.2 cm then added, 

the result is the circumference of the circle.

Translate into an equation*** 

 3r+%2B+8.2cm+=+2%2A3.14%2Ar

        8.2cm =  6.28r - 3r

        8.2cm = 3.28r

         2.5cm = r
