(1) 3j + 2s = 79.51
(2) 2j + 3s = 75.54
Let's multiply both sides of the first equation by 3 to get:
(1a) 9j + 6s = 238.53
And let's multiply both sides of the second equation by 2 to get:
(2a) 4j + 6s = 151.08
Subtract equation (2a) from equation (1a):
9j + 6s - 4j - 6s = 238.53 - 151.08
Combine like terms:
