%28w-3%29%2F2%2B%28w-4%29%2F3=12  |Multiplying thru by 6 so as all denominators = 1

 3(w-3) + 2(w-4) = 72

 3w - 9 + 2w - 8 = 72

            5w = 89

             w = 17.8
