You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let the shortest side of the triangle be x in.
The second side = (x+1) in
The longest side = (x+1)+1 in
= x + 2 in
perimeter = x + (x+1) + (x+2) = 17
==> 3x + 3 = 17
==> 3x = 17-3
==> 3x = 14
==> 3x/3 = 14/3
==> x = 4.7
==> x + 1 = 5.7
and x+2 = 6.7
The dimensions of the sides of the triangle are 4.7 in, 5.7 in and 6.7 in

Good Luck!!!
