+log%28x%2C16%29+=4%2F3 means that +x%5E%284%2F3%29+=+16

What you really want is to have x%5E1.

In order to do this, raise both sides of the equation:
+x%5E%284%2F3%29+=+16 to the 3%2F4 power:
+%28x%5E%284%2F3%29%29%5E%283%2F4%29+=+16%5E%283%2F4%29+

From this you can see that
x+=+16%5E%283%2F4%29+
x+=+%28root%284%2C16%29%29%5E3
+x+=+2%5E3
x=8
