Question 658977: Professor I'm stuck on a slope problem. The problem is I do not know how to send you the graph. It says find the slope of the line. There's no points given. The choices are (A) -4/3 (B) -3/4 (C) 4/3 (D) 3/4
The points I see where the line crosses looks like (1,0) and (0,1) hopefully you can help me. Thank you!!

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Note: is the first point . So this means that x%5B1%5D=1 and y%5B1%5D=0.
Also, is the second point . So this means that x%5B2%5D=0 and y%5B2%5D=1.

m=%28y%5B2%5D-y%5B1%5D%29%2F%28x%5B2%5D-x%5B1%5D%29 Start with the slope formula.

m=%281-0%29%2F%280-1%29 Plug in y%5B2%5D=1, y%5B1%5D=0, x%5B2%5D=0, and x%5B1%5D=1

m=%281%29%2F%280-1%29 Subtract 0 from 1 to get 1

m=%281%29%2F%28-1%29 Subtract 1 from 0 to get -1

m=-1 Reduce

So the slope of the line that goes through the points and is m=-1

So there's either a typo in the answer choices or the two points are something other than (1,0) and (0,1). Double check both.
