You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You're probably forgetting the surface area of the two circles at the ends of the cylinder.
d = 2.5 in., h = 5 in.
Area of both circles = 2%2Api%2A%28d%2F2%29%5E2 = 9.8 square inches
Area of the tube = pi%2Ad%2Ah = 39.3 square inches
Total surface area = 49.1 square inches
