Question 657328: Solve 25 < 5x - 15 < 45

You can put this solution on YOUR website! In equations, there are 2 "sides" on either side of the = sign. In your problem, there are 3 "sides", so we add, subtract, multiply, divide all 3 sides:
25 < 5x - 15 < 45
40 < 5x < 85 (added 15 to all 3 "sides")
8 < x < 17 (divided all 3 "sides" by 5)
If you have to graph this, it's a number line with open circles at 8 and 17 with shading in the middle. 0--------0
