Then the total length is:
x+%2B+%283%2F5%29x+=+144+feet
%288%2F5%29x+=+144+feet
%285%2F8%29%2A%288%2F5%29x+=+%285%2F8%29%2A144+feet
x = 90 feet and %283%2F5%29x = 54 feet
The two lengths are 90 feet and 54 feet.
