You can put this solution on YOUR website!
5(2x+y)=3 y = -4
This "equation" is confusing.
Are there 2 equations?
1st: 5(2x+y)=3
and
2nd: y=-4
--------
If so, substitute that value of y into the 1st equation so you can solve for x, as follows:
5(2x-4)=3
10x-20=3
10x=23
x=23/10
