Yardbird Landscaping has 40 m of fencing with which to enclose a rectangular garden. If the garden is x meters long, express the garden's area as a function of the length.

 P = 2L + 2W = 44   0r 

       L + W = 22     AND  W = 22 - L  OR W+=+22-x

 Area = L%2AW+=+x%2822-x%29
