You can put this solution on YOUR website!
A LINE PERPENDICULAR TO 2X-3Y=6 HAS THE FOLLOWING SLOPE
-3Y=-2X+6
Y=-2X/-3-3+6/-3
Y=2X/3-2 THUS THIS SLOPE IS 2/3.
THE LINE PERPENDICULAR TO THIS LINE HAS A SLOPE OF -3/2
THUS ITS EQUATION IS
Y=mX+b SUBSTITUTING THESE POINTS (7,5) FOR X & Y WE HAVE
5=-3/2*7+b
5-21/2=b
b=(10-21)/2
b=-11/2 THUS THIS EAUATION IS
Y=-3X/2-11/2
