Question 6540: How do you determine the vertical asymptotes, given the equation
of a rational function?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think the denominator of the equation equal to zero would be it, but not sure how to explain it. Answer by Mike(39) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! It is that value of x which makes the denominator equal to 0.
Hope that helps.
