You're thinking way too hard! :)
Imagine it was you in a car driving somewhere 4 hours away. Your friend is driving 65miles/hour (65mph). Each hour you go 65 miles (65 miles per hour). In 4 hours, you travel 4*65 miles, or 260 miles.
