Question 651575: Given the linear equation y=-3/4x-3 , find the y-coordinates of the points (-8, ), (-4, ), and (4, ). Please show all of your work. Plot those points and graph the linear equation. Submit your graph through the dropbox.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! Given the linear equation y=-3/4x-3 , find the y-coordinates of the points
(-8, ),
y = (-3/4)(-8) - 3 = (-3*-2) -3 = 6-3 = 3
-----------------------------------------------
(-4, )
y = (-3/4)(-4) -3 = (-3)(-1)-3 = 0
-----------------------------------------------
(4, )
y = (-3/4)(4) -3 = -3-3 = -6
