Question 651095: I am having a problem solving the following story problem. I got it wrong on my quiz and have to fix it. The problem says: One of the angles of a parallelogram measures 15 less than 2 times the measure of the angle next to it. Find the measure of all 4 of the angles. (Remember all the angles add up to 360 degrees). I put: x+x+x+2x-15 = 360
after doing the math, I got x = 75 degrees
It was marked wrong. I am lost about if I did the equation wrong. Answer by josmiceli(19441) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! The sum of adjacent angles must
add up to 180 degrees
given:
Let = the unknown angle
The angles are 65,65,115 and 115
checvk:
OK
