Let amount of cheeseburgers sold be C

Then amount of burgers sold without cheese = 495 - C, since a total of 495 were sold

Also, C+=+%281%2F2%29+%28495+-+C%29, since the amount sold with cheese was 1%2F2 of the amount sold without cheese

C+=+%28495+-+C%29%2F2

2C = 495 - C ----- Multiplying by LCD, 2


2C + C = 495

3C = 495

C, or amount of cheeseburgers sold = 495%2F3, or highlight_green%28165%29

Amount of burgers without cheese that were sold = 495 - 165, or highlight_green%28330%29
