You can put this solution on YOUR website! On question 64722 answered by Stan which was finding the vertex of y=x^2+2x-9. I understand how to get the vertex which is (-1, -10). However, what coordinates were used to graph the parabola.. Can you please show me the coordinates and explain how I get these coordinates. Thanks for your time and help..
------------
f(x)=x^2+2x-9
f(0)=0^2+2*0-9
This gives you the point (0,-9)
-----------------------
f(3)=3^2+2*3-9=6
This gives you the point (3,6)
--------------
f(-3)=(-3)^2+2*(-3)-9=6
This gives you the point (-3,-6)
--------------
