How many peas are there altogether?
:
Let x = the multiplier
then
4x = R's peas
3x = B's peas
8x = C's peas
and
15x = total number of peas

3x + 1%2F4*8x = 4x + 14
3x + 2x = 4x + 14
5x - 4x = 14
x = 14 is the multiplier
therefore
