Hi,
The vertex form of the equation of a parabola is
y= 5(x-3)^2-6
y = 5(x^2-6x + 9) - 6
y = 5x^2 - 30x + 45 - 6
y = 5x^2 - 30x + 39
Check by completing the square
y = ax^2 + bx + c ⇒ y = a(x -(-b/2a)^2) - a(-b/2a)^2 + c
y = 5(x-3)^2 -45 + 39
y = 5(x-3)^2 -6
