You can put this solution on YOUR website!
1%28x-3%29-2=6-2%28x%2B1%29 Start with the given equation.

x-3-2=6-2x-2 Distribute.

x-5=6-2x-2 Combine like terms on the left side.

x-5=-2x%2B4 Combine like terms on the right side.

x=-2x%2B4%2B5 Add 5 to both sides.

x%2B2x=4%2B5 Add 2x to both sides.

3x=4%2B5 Combine like terms on the left side.

3x=9 Combine like terms on the right side.

x=%289%29%2F%283%29 Divide both sides by 3 to isolate x.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(x-3)-2=6-2(x+1)
X-3-2=6-2X-2
X+2X=6-2+3+2
3X=9
X=9/3
X=3 ANS.
PROOF:
(3-3)-2=6-2(3+1)
0-2=6-2*4
-2=6-8
-2=-2
