You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Slope: -9

Perpendicular slope: (-9)/1 ---> -(-1/9) = 1/9

So m = 1/9

-------------------------------------------------------

The x-intercept is -1, so (-1,0) is a point on the line. So x = -1 and y = 0

y = mx+b

y = (1/9)x+b

0 = (1/9)(-1)+b

0 = -1/9+b

0 + 1/9 = b

1/9 = b

b = 1/9

So the equation of the line is
