You can put this solution on YOUR website!
sam.matt, and travis are playing a game, they each toss 1 quarter and 1 dime. in order to take a step forward, one of sams coins must show tails and one must show heads; mats coins must show two tails, and travis coins must show two heads. The player who is first to reach the finish line wins. which player
is most likely to win the game? prove your answer.
--------------
The probability of getting two tails is (1/2)(1/2)=1/4:the same for two heads.
The probability of getting one head and one tail is 2(1/2)(1/2)=1/2
Sam should move ahead twice as fast as matt or travis.
