You can put this solution on YOUR website! Hi, my name is Aaron I am in 10th grade and im in honors trig/pre-calc. It seems you have a mean teacher seeing she gave you such wacky fractions to deal with
Start by distributing the -2/3 to every term in the parentheses.
it should simplify down to -4/5x+7/15=17/20
isolate x...
-4/5x=17/20-7/15
-4/5x=51/60-28/60
-4/5x=23/60
multiply both sides by the recepericol of the coef. of x
(-5/4)*-4/5x=23/60(-5/4)
x=-23/48
