You can put this solution on YOUR website!
solve the following logarithmic equation.
log(4x+7)=1+log(x-6)
log(4x+7)-log(x-6)=1
log[(4x+7)/(x-6)]=1
convert to exponential form:base10) raised to log of number(1)=number(4x+7)/(x-6)
10^1=(4x+7)/(x-6)=10
4x+7=10(x-6)
4x+7=10x-60
6x=67
x=67/6
