You can put this solution on YOUR website!
A machine that originally cost $15,600 has a value of $7,500 at the end of 3 years. The same machine has a value of $2,800 at the end of 8 years.
---
You have 2 points: (0,15,600) and (3,7500) and (8,2800)
----
a. Find the average rate of change in value (depreciation) of the machine between its purchase and the end of 3 years.
average = (2800-15,600)/(8-0) = -1600
