Question 644563: Hello! I have been working on simplifying radical expressions and I have been stumped on one question. That question is....
(4√6x)(2√18x)
I have tried:
8√108x(squared)
8√36x times √3x
48 √x times √3x
The real answer is: 48x√3 but I am really confused as to how to get that answer. Thanks so much for your time!

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
48 √x times √3x = 48 √x*3x = 48√x^2*3 = 48√x^2*√3 = 48x√3

So 48 √x times √3x = 48x√3

which means that

(4√6x)(2√18x) = 48x√3
