An angle’s measure is 3 times the measure of its complement. Find the measure of the angle and the measure of its complement.

Let the angle be "x".
Then the complement is "90-x"

Equation:
angle = 3*complement
-------------------
x = 3(90-x)
x = 270-3x
4x = 270
x = 67.5 degrees (the angle)
90-x = 22.5 degrees (the complement)
