: I need to plot the graph for
y= -x^2+8x-12
I don't have an issue plotting I just have trouble starting the problems.
I am assuming to figure out y I would start the problem like
(x-4) (x+3) But foiling the problem I still would not get 8x.... i am so lost please help me thank you.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
I need to plot the graph for
y= -x^2+8x-12
Y = -12-[X^2-2X(4)+4^2]+4^2=4-(X-4)^2
Y = 4 -(X-4)^2...
THE GRAPH IS SYMMETRIC ABOUT X=4,
HAS A MAXIMUM VALUE OF 4 AT X=4
IT CUTS X AXIS AT 2 AND 6
THE GRAPH LOOKS LIKE THIS
+graph%28+600%2C+600%2C+-50%2C+50%2C+-100%2C+100%2C+-x%5E2%2B8x-12%29+
I don't have an issue plotting I just have trouble starting the problems.
I am assuming to figure out y I would start the problem like
(x-4) (x+3) But foiling the problem I still would not get 8x.... i am so lost please help me thank you.
