You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Twice the sum of a number and 3 is equal to three times the difference of a number and 8.
-------------
2(3+x)=3(8-x)
6+2x = 24-3x
x = 18/5
============
the difference of a number and 8 can be x-8, too.
2(3+x)=3(x-8)
6+2x = 3x-24
x = 30
==========
i got 2(3+x)=3(8-x)
but when i solve they don't equal where did i go wrong?
