You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The absolute value of some number = 0. That would therefore mean that the number itself would have to equal 0. The absolute value signs make no difference so they can be left out. The problem is therefore
x%5E2+%2B+2x+=+0
x%2A%28x+%2B+2%29=0
so x = 0 or x = -2.
