Area of sector = %28n%2F360%29%2Api%2Ar%5E2, with n being the central angle's size, and r, radius

Since n = 40%5Eo, and r = %281%2F2%2925, or 12.5 inches, we get:

A+=+%2840%2F360%29+%2A+pi+%2A+12.5%5E2

A+=+%281%2F9%29+%2A+pi+%2A+156.25

A, or area of sector = 54.54154 ≈ highlight_green%2854.54%29 sq inches
