Question 641323: My question is not about solving homework. Next week is midterms and I have a HORRIBLE grade in pre-algebra. We are having a final test over reciprocals. I need a LOT of help. So basically what you do is you swap the number over. So if the division problem is 1/3 divided by 1/2 you would be solving for: 1/3 x 2/1 right? and the answer would be 2/3. Am I correct? Thank you so much for reading.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Division with fractions, the rule
"invert the divisor (the reciprocal) and multiply"
:
1%2F3 divided by 1%2F2
would be
1%2F3 * 2%2F1 = 2%2F3 just like you said
