Plot the point (-5,-4) on an xy coordinate system.
Find the distance from the origin:
d=sqrt(4^2+5^2)= sqrt41
Then:
sin(theta)=y/d=-4/sqrt41
cos (theta)=x/d =-5/sqrt41
tan (theta)=y/x=4/5
The csc, sec, and cot, are the inverse of the sin, cos, tan.

sin(405)= sin(360+45)=sin45= (sqrt2)/2
