You can put this solution on YOUR website!
X/3 - y/2 = 1
-----------------
Y = (2/3)x - 2
----------------
Slope = 2/3

My teacher was asking us to find the slope of the lines described. The question was "The line with X intercept 3 and y intercept -2." How do I find this?

An x-intercept of 3 indicates a coordinate point of: (3, 0)

A y-intercept of - 2 indicates a coodinate point of: (0, - 2)

Slope, or m = %28y%5B2%5D+-+y%5B1%5D%29+%2F+%28x%5B2%5D+-+x%5B1%5D%29, or %28-+2+-+0%29%2F%280+-+3%29, or highlight_green%282%2F3%29
