Directions: Given the linear equation y = -2/3 X -2 find the y- coordiantes of the points (-9) (-3) and (6). Plot these points and graph the equation.

Take the first given value, and substitute it into the given equation:

Do the arithmetic to find the value of .

Form the ordered pair using -9 for and whatever you just calculated for as the part.

Plot the point.

Repeat the above process with the other two given values.

Draw a straight line through your three points. If the three points you plotted are not all in a single straight line, then you have made an arithmetic or plotting error.
