Question 638920: Please help me solve this word problem. When Chiko 'volunteers' for the army, he says that the ride on the bus lasted 'endless' hours. If the truck he was in was moving at a rate of 30 km/hr and the bus ride lasted for 13 hours, how far did the soldiers take him from home? How far in miles?
I think I divide 13 into 30 which equals 0.43333 but that doesn't make sense..
please e-mail me back at twogunsdown@ymail.com... thank you.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! If the truck he was in was moving at a rate of 30 km/hr and the bus ride
lasted for 13 hours, how far did the soldiers take him from home?
How far in miles?
:
Remember; dist = speed * time
:
13 * 30 = 390 km
