You can put this solution on YOUR website! Graph using the intercept method: 2x + y = 4
-----------------
Let x=0, then y=4 giving the point (0,4)
----------
Let y=0, then x=2 giving the point (2,0)
----------
Plot the two points and draw a line thru them.
That is the graph you want.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! 2X+Y=4
Y=-2X+4 THUS THE Y INTERCEPT IS (0,4) WITH A SLOPE OF 2
SETTING Y=0 WE FIND THE X INTERCEPT
0=-2X+4
-2X=-4
X=-4/-2
X=2 OR THE POINT (2,0)
LOCATE THESE TWO POINTS (2,0)&(0,4) CONNECT THEM WITH A LINE WITH A SLOPE OF 2.
