When converting a smaller unit of measurement into a larger unit, you divide. When converting a larger unit of measurement into a smaller unit, you multiply. Since we are trying to convert feet into yards, and yards are larger than feet, we will need to divide our feet by the number of feet that are equal to 1 yard. Therefore, we will divide 378 by 3, which equals 126. So, 378 feet = 126 yards. Now we can determine the total price of linoleum.
